The photos on here were taken yesterday(Fri Oct 21) around noon. Conditions were still good. Waxless skis worked well for classic skiing. Skaters seemed to be cruising around with little difficulty. I enjoyed skiing a few laps with Sean Huggins-Chan. He was using an old pair of flat rock skis, so it may be the only time ever that I was faster than him.
Frozen Thunder was soft yesterday, but nice and forgiving to skate on. Saw only couple people on classic skis: national team member on Fischer zeros, and George on 2 layer klister mix which lasted “48 minutes”. Waxless would have worked. Just noticed real snow on live webcam, I’m on my way!
