No skiing for me today. Rather than enjoying Ribbon Creek or Elk Pass, I spent the day negotiating my way around the streets of Calgary.
Excellent comments on the previous post regarding “Grooming.” Barbara’s question made me recall my first couple years of skiing where I was wondering the same things. How did these tracks get here? When were they made? Who made them? They just seemed to magically appear. Watching a Pisten-Bully work its magic was fascinating to me when I finally saw one. In any event, we’re privileged to have so many trails that are expertly groomed.
The Lake Louise trail report shows ALL trails are now trackset, including Pipestone. There are 10 trails on the list – how many have you skied this year? The Lake Louise trail conditions are reported on the Banff trail report.
