– Doug and Jenny from Minneapolis –
Skiers from across North America have converged on the Canmore Nordic Centre to get a jump on the ski season. I only spoke to skiers from Montana, Minnesota, Ontario and BC, but I’m sure there are many more, judging from all the early-morning skiers today. The snow is holding up well and I didn’t hear any complaints about conditions. There’s a little bit of sugar, especially in the corners, but I was pleased to see a well-defined classic track. It froze last night, so it probably helped with the grooming and tracksetting this morning.
