These photos were taken this morning at the Canmore Nordic Centre, where Frozen Thunder is being prepared for skiing. The dump trucks are hauling snow from the big freezer, the Pisten-Bully is smoothing it out, and we’ll have some grooming soon. The official opening is this Saturday. Where does the snow get trucked in from?

It’s stored in a big pit at the nordic centre about half a kilometre down Banff Trail. -Bob
