Back in Nov 2008 when I made my first ever blog post, I never thought I’d see the day when it reached this milestone.
Thanks to all readers who have left comments over the years. Your feedback – Trip Reports – inquiries all help to keep me motivated. All comments are appreciated but special thanks to prolific reporters Steve Riggs for your 129 comments/Trip Reports, and Chuck O’Callaghan for 111 and the excellent photos. We’ve had a total of 4736 comments.
Thanks also to my advertisers who have supported this blog and helped me turn my passion into my dream (winter) job.
That is fantastic – congratulations!!
What is really fantastic, though, is this blog and the way it has taken off. This has become the best resource for cross-country skiers in this area, and more!
Thank you again, and many more seasons of happy trails to you 🙂
Your site is an excellent resource about ski trail conditions, but it is much more than that. It contains the one element that is completely missing from the “official” trail reports… enthusiasm for skiing.
Hi BOB !
Congrats on the milestone ! Keep up the great work. I am sure I will run into you on the trail some day. I can only imagine how many people you have motivated over the years.
We try to teach our children to follow their dreams.
Congratulations on your milestone, Bob, and on finding your dream job!
Congratulations are in order Bob! Although I am not even close to the 1000 post mark, I do know the feeling of reaching the milestone on other blogs. This blog has brought great joy to my wife and I. As I said before, eventhough I snowshoe not ski, I find this place a good reference and community. You reference this as your dream job, if I could only find a job where I am backpacking in the mountains everyday in hiking boots or snowshoes everyday for four seasons every year I would be living the dream too. Keep up the excellent work with this blog and Congrats again !
