I didn’t do any skiing for the past two days, but I did have a look at the Spray River trail in Banff today. It appears to have received about 3 cm of new snow. The tracks were skied-in and conditions looked good. The snow temperature was probably around -1 or -2. The above Iphone photo shows a lot of footprints from walkers, but they stayed out of the tracks.
We also received about 3 cm in Canmore. The temperature got quite warm, reaching +3. It didn’t get that warm in Banff, however.
From the sounds of Ray’s Trip Report, PLPP received more snow(10 cm) and it stayed cold enough for wax to work well.
