Skintec skis contest winner

From the sound of Mary’s trip report to Lake O’Hara, the weather, snow, and tracks were lovely today. I was invited along, but I had to go to Calgary, so I’m feeling totally ripped-off. With so few days of good skiing remaining, I hate to miss one but I’m thrilled to know there are still some great skiing conditions out there.

I was sent this short video of the draw being made for the winner of the Atomic Skintec skis from Wilson Mountain Sports in Lake Louise:

As you can see, Paul has already collected his prize, just in time for some spring skiing. Thank you to everyone who stopped in at Wilson’s and entered the contest, and a big thank you to Wilson’s for donating such an incredible and useful prize.

As the xc ski season winds down, I’d also like to say thanks to all the businesses and organizations who advertised on my blog this winter. We’ve had some fantastic contests with wonderful prizes. For me, reading the contest entries is always the best part, as the comments are always entertaining and fascinating.

If you’d like to refresh your memory, these were some of the other contests from the past winter:

Emerald Lake is a spectacular place to ski

Emerald Lake

Win 2 free nights at Emerald Lake Lodge

Win Home waxing set-up from Lifesport

Win Fischer skis

There’s still some great skiing to be found at Yoho and Emerald Lake, so here’s a reminder to support grooming in Yoho and Emerald Lake. It only costs $40 to become a member, and you’ll be able to take advantage of the Emerald Lake Lodge $99 special which is still in effect.
