Winter’s back

Update Sat Feb 21 @ 7:15 a.m: Some of the “middle” trails in PLPP were groomed last night. They must have received enough snow to make it possible. Check the Live Grooming Report for details.

Fri Feb 20 @ 5:50 pm:

Canmore Fire and rescue

It appears we’re socked in with snow flurries and blowing snow for the night. I’ve been perusing the various forecasts, and it appears that 5 – 10 cm will fall at lower elevations. The Snow Forecast for Fortress mountain at 1800 metres elevation is now up to 30 cm. The trailhead at Elk Pass is at 1720 metres. Temperatures will fall to -10 or even colder tonight.

Trip Reports

I’ve noticed a lot of new faces on the Trip Reports page this winter. Thanks for your input. All skiers are appreciative of the information. We can always use more, so we’d welcome your report if you want to post for the first time.
