The snowfall amounts I report are from my back yard. The Canmore Nordic Centre reports 10 cm. The forecast is calling for a further 5 cm today, but it sure doesn’t look imminent. It’s partly cloudy, but the sun has just poked its face over Grotto Mountain.

Unfortunately, this return to winter is going to be short-lived, as the temperatures are returning to the mild conditions we’ve been experiencing, with highs around +5 for the remainder of the week. The good news is that it’s dropping below zero every night.
