  1. 2015-16 CNC senior’s day pass at $11.50 is a 50% increase over last year’s $7.50. Annual at $135 is only a $10 increase. GST is included. Personally, this means I will ski less at CNC. It’s a shame that kids pay so much.

Helen, thanks for pointing out the book of vouchers, which seems to be the best deal if one is only going to ski there shoulder season.

55-65 yr olds in particular had it good at CNC (65 km of trails) for a long time. Still cheaper than BC:
-senior’s <65 rates at Vernon Silver Star (only 55 km of trails) are $17 and 212+GST = $223
    – senior’s <75 rates at Penticton Nickel Plate (only 45 km of trails) are $15 and 166+19 CCBC fee = $185

  2. They have not increased their trail passes for 5 years so this is the year for a jump. Still cheap when you consider a day of downhill is close to $100.

  3. I inquired earlier this week about the cost of a single day pass for a Senior to ski at CNC. I recall paying around $7.50 last year but this year it will be $11.25. They are selling eleven senior passes for the price of ten, but this costs $112.50 plus maybe some GST. A Senior’s Season Pass (if purchased before the end of October) is $121.50 so one needs to go 11 times to pay it off. I am not 100% positive what the cost was to ski for a day last year, but if is did jump from $7.50 to $11.25 that is a big increase.
