One last chance

Tracksetting on Hydroline in PLPP

Tracksetting on Hydroline in PLPP

Sunday Apr 10 @ 8:30 a.m:

PLPP tracksetter Jody groomed a number of trails in the south end last night including Elk Pass, Tyrwhitt, Blueberry Hill, and Hydroline. Jody reports the temperature at Elk Pass this morning is -1, and there was a bit of fresh snow. Should be a good day until it warms up.

It’s -2 in Lake Louise this morning and Chateau tracksetter Jeff Douglas did his final grooming yesterday on Fairview and Upper Tramline.

Tracks

Thanks for the tracks!

Thanks to Jody, James, and Phil for all the excellent tracksetting in PLPP this winter. I will also take this opportunity to say thanks to all the tracksetters in K-Country, Banff, Lake Louise, Yoho, West Bragg Creek, and Calgary for their hard work this winter. As most of us already know, tracksetting involves a lot more than driving a snowcat or riding a snowmobile. A shovel is frequently one of their most used implements.

  1. I tried to use that last chance.. But it was not easy as I started at … 2PM from Boulton Trading Post parking lot.
It was soft. And wet. And slow.
    Lots of debris in woods.
Cannot say I enjoyed the process of skiing.. But surely I did enjoy being in mountains on my favorite trails!
Packers, Pocaterra, Lookout, Hydroline, Elk Pass, Boulton Creek.
That was probably last ski of the season.
That’s all groomers for hard work!
