I will be posting some “Guess the trail” games in the near future with a dozen photos where you can show off your knowledge of the ski trails. Let’s get warmed up with the two photos on this update. Do you know which trails they are?

Chuck wanted to let everyone know that with the warm weather, Moraine Lake road is no longer skiable. When the snow is not machine-packed, it disappears quickly, especially in the sun-exposed areas.
#2. What trail is this?
It was nice to get GMJ’s update on Frozen Thunder. It’s amazing how well it’s holding up in this warm weather.
Ski Sales This Weekend
Two ski sales will be held this weekend where you will have an excellent selection of gear. Lifesport’s sale is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Canmore Nordic Ski Club’s sale is on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at the Canmore Nordic Centre.
#2 is the Goat Creek Trail
Correct! It’s the Goat Creek bridge at 7K. As you can see, it’s a tricky downhill to the bridge. -Bob
I will take the first guess. #1 – cascade valley, #2- spray river.
#1 Correct. It is the new bridge over the Cascade river at 6K. #2 You’re in the right park, but wrong trail.
#2 is Goat Creek trail.
