The wonderful early-season skiing came to a sudden halt with this warm weather and rain. I believe it has affected all areas, and the earliest turnaround on the horizon appears to be Monday.

After this meltdown, any cooler weather will simply produce icy conditions on the trails, so we’ll need some snow to bring things back to life.
According to the Weather Network, Lake Louise has snow in the forecast for Sunday night with cooler temperatures to follow, with a similar scenario for PLPP.
The optimist in me will check the PLPP Live Grooming report on Saturday morning, but I don’t have high expectations.
