PLPP tracksetting on Saturday morning
You can be forgiven if you step outside and think it’s Jan 31 rather than March 31. It’s -15°C but the sun is shining and it looks like it will be a beautiful bluebird day for skiing with a high around -7. I just hope you didn’t store your green and blue wax yet.
The map above shows the trails which were trackset early this morning in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. Yesterday’s grooming on Elk Pass and Blueberry will have at least 10 cm of new snow on top.
If you’re skiing in PLPP today, stop in at the hut between 2-4 pm for the SkierBob “Meet and Greet.”
The trails at West Bragg Creek are in the process of being groomed.
Canmore Nordic Centre has freshly groomed trails.
