Snowfall progress report

10 cm in Calgary at 8:30 pm

Dec 21 at 8:30 pm: It looks like this one is living up to the hype. I have exactly 10 cm of new snow on  my deck and barbecue. It’s only been snowing for four hours, so it’s coming down at the rate of 2.5/cm per hour. How long would you like it to continue?

According to Gord F’s report, the south end of Kananaskis got a four-hour head start.

The forecasts are predicting snow throughout the night, tapering off in late morning and ending by mid-afternoon on Tuesday.

Windy.com is predicting 28.8 cm for Ribbon Creek.
