  1. Just bought the earlybird pass for Nakiska and then wondered if there is earlybird pricing for the Nordic Centre? Doesn’t appear to be so, but I thought you’d be the person to ask! Cheers.

    • I can’t speak for the Nordic Centre’s plans for this coming season, but they usually offer an early bird special in October. I’ll announce it on the blog when it’s official.

  2. We are from Manitoba and there is no snow yet! My husband is itching to find snow somewhere and mentioned the possibility of going to ski Canmore for his birthday.(on the 26th) do you have enough snow to consider cross country skate and classic trails? Please let me know. Thank you.

  3. So I guess the burning question is why the full Banff Loop/Night Loop has been neglected but lots of work has been done to the toboggan area?? It is the “Nordic” Centre and I would assume that reasonable effort would be made to ensure the most popular trail in the system would be fully ski-able during the busiest time of the year. Full credit to the staff who were super organized and ready for the cold temps and produced an amazing amount of snow earlier in November. Also, I noted they shoveled snow on thin/bare spots in many places. I can’t understand however, why the above mentioned trail completion seems to have completely stalled.

    Tom, here’s the answer to your question, as provided by the manager of the Canmore Nordic Centre http://skierbob.ca/2014/12/concerns-about-snowmaking-answered-by-cnc-manager/ -Bob

  4. What is the current snow depth on the xc trails at Can,ore Nordic Centre?

    • Hi, it’s Heather from the Nordic Centre – I’m not sure of the snow depth, but I will e-mail someone to find out for you!

      • The snow base depth on the natural snow based portions of Banff, Bow, and Meadowview trails ranges from 15cm to 22 cm.

        Happy skiing!

  5. Is it still free in the evenings like it used to be?

  6. Here is a web page for Trail Sports that shows rental pricing;
