-Chip and Peter at the end of Moraine Lake road- It’s possible that Chip, Peter, and I picked the only trail with cold snow today. We had good grip all the way to the end of Moraine Lake road with VR45(-2/-8).
-Ray and Mary Perrott are two of this blog’s esteemed trip reporters. Thanks to Mary for today’s report.- Mary, when describing conditions on Moraine Lake road, used the term “flying” and she was right.
Thank you to Lisa for this update: Hello, We are a family of skiers from Ontario in Canmore for a 4 day long weekend. Hoping for snow from the forecast last night, we headed up To Lake Louise early this morning.
Chuck is usually the first one to ski Moraine Lake road in early November, so it’s only fitting that he is also the first to drive it in the summer. Not only that, but he hiked to Eiffel Lake and Sentinel pass. Still a fair bit of snow up there as you can see in his photos.
