Work is starting to take its toll on my skiing. I haven’t been out this week so far, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t lots of things happening.
I first want to thank you for all the comments on the weekend’s skiing. As I get out less, we’ll be relying on you to keep everyone informed of snow and trail conditions.
I see from the Kananaskis trail report that West Bragg Creek received snow and most of the trails were trackset on Jan 24.
The Huckleberry Loppet is on this Sunday at Golden, BC. Read more Huckleberry Loppet. I skied at Dawn Mountain in Golden last year and can assure you they have a beautiful set of trails.

Mike Freeman is one of the luckiest men on the planet to have had this experience Bow Valley Wolf Encounter. I wish it had a different ending, however.
