Another wonderful weekend of skiing – this seems to be a great year for snow so far.
I went out with a small group from the Norseman Ski Club today to do Ribbon Creek to Kananaskis Village via Kovach and back via Aspen. It was beautiful with fresh snow and we even had some blue sky and sun. Conditions were fantastic on the new snow, no grooming or tracksetting yet. We’ll see how things are after the predicted storm. Here are a couple of photos, the first one is looking at Aspen before anybody touched the fresh snow and the second is from the end of the trail near the Ribbon Creek parking lot.

Ribbon Creek/Kananaskis is one of my favorite ski trails – a good ski, a little climbing and then a warm lunch at the village – what could be better than that?
A couple minutes later we tracked the Aspen trail. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kahtava/sets/72157625866942049/
Had a great day at Ribbon Creek, a bit slow, but the fresh snow was magic. 🙂
