Here’s a fabulous contest to get the season started
The winner will enjoy 2 nights at Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff National Park, just a few minutes away from all the delightful ski trails close by, such as Spray River, Cascade Fire Road, Healy Creek, Sundance Canyon, and Redearth Creek.
When Cheryl and I have had occasion to stay at Buffalo Mountain Lodge, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The atmosphere is consistent with what you’d expect to encounter in a heritage mountain location. The main lodge complements its natural setting, featuring hand hewn timber construction with high open beam ceilings. In the rooms, there’s nothing like the ambience which a real wood-burning fireplace provides. The food in the restaurant is incredible. It’s a beautiful place and I’m thrilled that we are able to offer this as a contest prize on this blog. Read more about Buffalo Mountain Lodge

I love winter in the Rockies because it brings with it cross country skiing on Lake Louise’s Tramline trail. I love gliding silently along the soft powder snow while eagerly anticipating the next exhilarating downhill run.
I love being able to get up in the morning, check the weather and this web site and decide where to go cross country skiing. Within an1/2 an hour or up to 2 hours we are there ready for a great day.
Thanks for your entry, Rene! This will be a good opportunity for me to ask everyone to make the comments on the official entry page http://skierbob.ca/contest-2-free-nights-at-buffalo-mountain-lodge/
Entries made on this page will be valid, but it will be more fun if everyone can read all entries on the same page. -Bob
