Ski trail grooming will return to Yoho National Park thanks to an agreement between Parks Canada, Emerald Lake Lodge, Kicking Horse Ski Club and Emerald Lake Sport and Gift.
The trail grooming program was initially cut completely in the last federal budget.
My understanding is that Emerald Lake horse trail, alluvial fan, and east shore grooming are a certainty, along with a good portion of the Emerald connector. The other trails in Yoho are a possibility, but details need to be worked out.
