More trails being trackset daily

Update Nov 21: Canmore Nordic Centre The popular natural-snow trails, Bow, Meadowview, and Banff(beyond Mine Meadow) have been groomed and trackset.

Kananaskis Village/Ribbon Creek

This is incredibly wonderful news considering it’s mid-November. When I looked at the Live Grooming Report from Kananaskis village/Ribbon creek, I wasn’t sure if the trails were groomed only, but Tracksetter Jeff has informed us that indeed they were trackset. That includes Terrace, Kovach, Aspen and the connectors.

Banff

More Banff trails are being trackset and coming on stream daily. Today it was Cascade valley. This winter we can only go as far as the first bridge, but that’s still a wonderful ski, 13K return. I don’t see any information on whether they’ve groomed down to the Upper Bankhead yet.

Yesterday, Sundance canyon and Healy creek(up to Brewster creek junction) were trackset. The Cave and Basin in Banff is the only place you can access these trails.

Lake Louise

Tracksetter John’s update gave me the impression they are buried in snow at Lake Louise and they are working hard to get everything packed, groomed, and trackset. I think we can expect more trails to be ready soon.
