Spray River

I don’t think my snow shovelling photos can compete with these great pictures which Chuck took today on the Spray river loop in Banff National Park. We can usually count on the fearless Chuck or courageous Helen to keep this blog going on ultra-cold and snowy days.

Chuck reports:

SPRAY WEST and SPRAY EAST Loop
With 55 cm of fresh snow in our backyard this morning, and a temperature of -23C, I decided to ski from home and head to the Spray through the back woods.
With all the new snow, it was a good opportunity to do the loop of Spray West and Spray East, and take in a little photography on such a beautiful day.
Many nice folks had the same idea!
