An additional 230 metres of groomed snow showed up on Saturday on Albertville trail at the Canmore Nordic Centre. The total snow coverage is 1.1K, but to do a complete loop with the additional out-and-back, you’ll cover a distance of 1.3K.
Jeff was enjoying the great conditions on Frozen Thunder
Today(Sunday), the conditions were superb. Although I skied later in the day, the classic track was still in good shape. I had better-than-adequate grip with my zero skis, and nice glide. Jeff was using waxless fish scale skis successfully as well.
The snow has preserved well with the cooler temperatures which we’ve had since Frozen Thunder arrived. Everyone I talk to is impressed with the conditions we’ve had so far this year.
