Some grooming was completed at Mount Shark yesterday:
Trails groomed on Dec. 14th include the Blue 2km loop, biathlon area and Watridge Lake trail from the main parking trailhead to the Spray River. Many other early season natural hazards also exist, including bumps and uneven surfaces and possible open water and ice. Dec 14th groomed surface are skiable however there are some very thin sections showing some dirt, brush and uneven tread. Caution advised!
In case you missed it, the grooming at Pocaterra has been trashed by hikers. There are photos posted on my previous update.

Yoho
Kicking Horse River and Tally Ho were trackset yesterday, and according to the report from KHSC, “turned out beautifully.” The Alluvial Fan is going to take some work…
“It will take a fair bit of work to get the fan packed! We need snowshoers or fat boards with skins to break the trail first–and the more the merrier! Get your friends together this weekend and come for a work out.”
