Ten years ago, March 8, 2011, I vividly recall this wonderful overnight trip to Shadow Lake Lodge and remarked at the time, “the most snow I’ve ever seen on Redearth Creek, and skiing on the best conditions ever.”
The Lodge was still in the hands of the Brewster family and was opened for a good portion of the winter. It was also affordable to the common everyday skier.
In my photos, you’ll also see another “way-back” photo, that of the Lost Horse Creek bridge which was swept away in the floods of 2013.
The winter of 2010-2011 was a good one and it lasted until late April.
I don’t know how many of you remember this other “way-back” feature, but my blog was still known as SkiHere.ca. I retained the doman name and you can still find SkierBob by inputting www.skihere.ca.
