Spring skiing already

I haven’t got anything new to report, so I’m grateful for all the Trip Reports. I haven’t skied since we returned from Nipika on Friday. It was very warm

Miles was asking about conditions at Nipika, so I checked it out in person. Today it was excellent as long as you had waxless skis. The grooming here is imaculate and the variety of trails almost endless.

Nice weekend ahead

Maybe too nice? Now that West Bragg and the two Calgary golf courses are trackset and in nice shape, the weather turns warm. I hope conditions stay good for at least tomorrow. Sunday might be a waxless ski day. We received two encouraging

It’s -20°C on my thermometer in Canmore, and we’ve had about 2 cm of snow. Lyle says the weather is a lot nicer at his place, and conditions have never been better
