As you can see, the K-Country crew has done an exceptional job of grooming the Ribbon Creek trails with their new snowcat. The upper trails like Skogan Pass, Skogan Loop and Sunburst were in fantastic shape and virtually no skiers on these trails. We had brought touring gear because the out-of-date K-Country information indicated that the trails were last groomed on Dec. 9. The bonus on Sunday was mild temperatures, no wind and plenty of sunshine. Ideal conditions for a Winter Solstice ski!

The snow is pretty good right now and everything is groomed for both classic & skate skiing. More snow is on the way this week as well. Have a Merry Christmas!
