I was thrilled to get Chuck’s report this morning at 9:10 a.m. about the Banff tracksetter working on Spray River and was hoping he’d also be doing Goat Creek.
Barbara had excellent conditions for her first ever ski on Goat Creek and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Peter and I both agreed that it was one of the best trips

That missile speeding down Goat Creek today was me. If you want to go breakneck fast, Goat Creek is your trail.
It’s rare to experience such exceptionally good conditions on Goat Creek. New tracksetting, cold, clean snow, bluebird skies and nobody walking in the tracks. A day of skiing to be savoured!
I remember too many ski seasons where we didn’t have very good conditions on Spray River East and West so I’m getting my fill this winter.

The air temperature at the Goat Creek trailhead was -12°C at 1:15 pm and a light, gentle snowfall was beginning. There was not a breath of wind and it seemed a lot
