If you stayed home to watch the ‘Riders and Stamps, you missed out on a wonderful day of skiing. Besides idling, why not make your stay a worth while and play Zehngames online casino. It is a good way to regulate yourself before going skiing.
Considering it is not even December yet, snow and trail conditions were near perfect today for our Calgary Ski Club trip to K-Country to ski the Tyrwhitt loop which consists of some of my all-time favourite trails . The fresh snow made climbing Whiskey Jack a breeze. At the top, there was lots of new ungroomed snow going north on Pocaterra. We should see some good conditions on the upper Pocaterra trail once it gets groomed.
We headed south on Tyrwhitt where there was lots of new snow, but the tracks were skied-in and fast.
I’ve never had a more enjoyable run down Elk Pass. No snowplowing necessary today with the fresh snow.
I still got home in time to watch the ‘Riders beat the Stamps! Guess where I’m from?
Great Divide/1A tracks at L. Louise were worn both ways but snow was good. Is that what Parks Canada means when they describe trail as ‘Fair’? Tracksetting went beyond the Great Divide exhibit although that wasn’t mentioned in the trail report. Lots of vehicles in trailhead parking (L. Louise end) & at Moraine L. Road.
Excellent conditions at Blueberry Hill on Sunday.
Contrary to what the most recent trail report from K-Country was saying,it was trackset all the way to the top with a few cm’s of new, giving fast easy skiing. As good as it gets, really!
Robertson Glacier trail skier set but excellent condition. Super blue wax did the trick!
