Did anyone else enter the SkiTrax Olympic Fantasy Contest?
It involved picking the podium finishers from the XC skiing at the Olympics and I’m thrilled to say I finished in 9th place(was tied with 3 others for 6th but the luck of the draw put me in 9th). There were 154 contestants and you can see the full results here(my name was “Abbey”) and the prizes here.
Having the World Cup in Canmore got me quite interested in following some of the skiers who I saw there, and this contest really made me think about the different events and who had the best chances.

If you’re keen on doing some racing this weekend, there are two events happening:
Spray River was trackset yesterday
I skied the Spray River west side today up to the end of the tracksetting at 9.9K(Sundance Canyon junction). The trailhead is at the Banff Springs Hotel. We usually start at the Canmore end and then we call it Goat Creek.
