First day of spring

We’ve had about 2 cm of snow overnight in Canmore. The forecast calls for 2-4 cm more over the next 24 hours, but it’s not snowing right now. The snow is cold and powdery. The thermometer in my back yard says it’s -8, and the sun is shining.

It’s difficult to see for certain, but from the PLPP web cam it appears that it might be snowing lightly there, with a temp of -2.

  1. Peter Lougheed was gorgeous!

Sun had burst through the clouds. We were on Hydroline/elkpass. The conditions at the top were still fantastic, though the base of hydroline/elkpass on the way back had started to soften up as of 3pm, might be icy tomorrow. . .
