I’m updating the blog this morning from the rustic and beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge. (You may have guessed from Tracksetter John’s comment). We arrived in Lake Louise yesterday in time to ski the Fairview loop which was fantastic. We won’t have time to ski everything today, but it sounds like we have a lot of attractive choices. I think we’ll start out with a ski around the lake and the alluvial fan. It’s snowing lightly here at 8:00 a.m. with about 1 cm of new already on the ground.
Thanks to the Trip Reports, we know that Pipestone was trackset yesterday. Really good news from Chuck about the Spray River trail. In addition to his Trip Report, he has since informed me that the Spray has been packed. Can’t wait to ski Goat Creek, one of my favourites.
