Snowfall update

Dec 24 @ 11:12 a.m. We’ve received about .5 cm of snow in Canmore. Barrier Lake Visitor Centre in Kananaskis reports 2 cm at Ribbon creek. This should help freshen up the Kananaskis village trails and the lower Skogan pass trails.

Good thing it’s my favourite

-Many skiers were enjoying the great conditions on Elk Pass- When people ask me to name my favourite ski trail, I usually say it’s the last one I skied on.

Mount Shark

-Tara and Melissa were having a good time on Watridge Lake road- Great trip reports coming in from PLPP. It sounds like the fresh snow helped to cover some pine needles.

Late afternoon report

-Jane and Brian on Whiskey Jack.- It was snowing at the bottom of Whiskey Jack at 5 pm. Hopefully it will continue, and cover all those pine needles with fresh, cold snow.
