I stopped by the nordic centre today and took a few pictures. The snow on Frozen Thunder was cold and looked inviting.

There’s lots of man-made snow waiting to be pushed
out, so additional trails may be opening soon. An additional 200 metres has been added to Frozen Thunder already, completing the loop between the biathlon range and the Albertville spur.

Your season pass for the CNC goes into effect on Saturday Nov 14. That’s the day you can ski on Frozen Thunder without buying a special pass. You can purchase CNC season passes online.
40 cm predicted
Doug Connery made note of the weather system which is on the horizon for the weekend. The Snow Forecast for Fortress Mountain at 1800 metres(similar to Elk pass) is for 40 cm from Thursday night through Sunday. Lake Louise at 1646 m(similar to the Moraine Lake trailhead) is for 33 cm.
