Hi Bob,
Just returned form Lake Louise where I skied with my 77 year old Dad. Friday we skied Cascade Fire Road to the bridge. It was sunny and warm, to the point of needing red wax. We skied Pipestone on Saturday, making new tracks over about 3cm of fresh snow. We had some icing up problems due to mild temperatures. Lost the trail where P3 joins P2 so retraced our route. Dad was much happier today on Lower Telemark with waxless skis. We made fresh tracks, but had no problem following trail. A blizzard blew through on the way back. Temperatures were mild. Good spring skiing.

Also skiied at Lake Louise on the weekend. We skiied Fairveiw on Saturday. There was abut 2-3 inches on new snow and we had the same icing problems due to warm temperatures. Beautiful scenery made up for the icing problems.
