Shaganappi golf course is still open to skiing, but it may come to an abrupt end. Alasdair Fergusson from the Calgary Ski Club received this email from the superintendent of Shaganappi…
I will be snow throwing paths to areas that I need access to starting April 4. This has to be done to get contractors in to remove key pieces of infrastructure for maintenance prior to the golf course opening. Please inform skiers that some tracks will not be level transitioning and to be watchful of the transitions. I would like to give the skiers this week to enjoy but if it becomes a safety issue than I will have to close the gates. Please advise skiers on your website that the gates may be closed without warning if safety becomes an issue. Have a good summer.

It would appear that Parks Canada is grooming the Fairview trail at Lake Louise now that the Heritage Guides have called it quits for this year. Fairview, along with Moraine Lake road and Pipestone #20 were groomed on April 2.
I hope you can make it to round two of the Meet ‘N Greet…
