Today was also a good day for Canada in the women’s sprint relay. Daria Gaiazova and Perianne Jones posted a sixth-place result.
It all started with Beckie Scott and the Canadian women skiers excelling on the world stage, and now the men have kicked the door open. I think we can expect many more medals to come in the near future. Even better, this will encourage and motivate our young skiers to train and work hard, and ensure that Canada continues to produce top-notch cross-country skiers who can compete at the elite level. This is fantastic!
