As we were skiing along Elk pass, Georgina pointed out a feature which I had never noticed before: the hugging tree. I’ve posted the photo.

Conditions were even better today than on Saturday. With all the skiers yesterday, the tracks are fast but still offering great grip with blue wax.
It was a beautiful day to ski up to Blueberry hill with new tracksetting, sunny skies, and wet snow. The wet snow wasn’t so good, but it’s spring and we must make
I love it when there’s a centimetre or two of fresh snow on top of the new grooming as it maximizes the fun for descending the steep parts of Blueberry hill.

Today was about as good as it gets. I would have been satisfied with the events of this day even without skiing on the wonderful conditions in PLPP.
