I became aware yesterday that you can no longer obtain a dedicated ski trails map for Peter Lougheed Provincial Park(PLPP). The new map, entitled Explore,
– The Horyn family was enjoying Family Day on the Sundance Canyon trail. – It’s a rare occasion when Brewster creek gets trackset, so today I headed for Banff.
– Sundance Lodge is at the end of the Brewster creek groomed ski trail – A cougar was spotted today on Healy creek by Doug Connery. I had met Doug descending the Brewster creek trail as I was going up.
– The tracksetter was preparing to set a new track on Healy creek – I phoned out to PLPP and got the news I expected.
– Brewster creek trail has been trackset – With the world coming to an end tomorrow, I hope everyone spent this last day skiing?
I did some scouting around this afternoon in the UNESCO world heritage site that is on my doorstep, Banff National Park.
