One Thousand K!

Bob celebrates 1000K on skis this winter

Bob celebrates 1000K on skis this winter Feb 16, 2009

What a terrific day it was! The nice weather along with the Family Day holiday brought the skiers out in full force today.  I needed 34K to hit the 1000K  mark and I didn’t intend on doing it all today, but once I got going it was hard to quit. Every trail was in nice shape and the snow was fast. I skied Whiskey Jack(twice!), Tyrwhitt, Elk Pass, Fox Creek, Moraine, Pocaterra, Lynx, Amos, Wheeler. There were no pine needles or debris, just the odd pine cone which was easy to dodge. More photos

Is there enough winter remaining to hit 2000K? LOL

I recently skied at the Dawn Mountain trails in Golden, BC. See the photos here
