Where is this?
Well, we can dream. No snow yet, so let’s post some photos of ski trails and see if you can guess where they are. This first one should be pretty easy. As soon as someone gets it, I’ll post a new one. (Click on the photo to make it larger).
I see from the blog stats that lots of people are checking here to see if there’s any snow in this neck of the woods. We’re getting visitors from all over North America, so I’d like to say hello to the skiers from Aurora, Colorado and North Salt Lake, Utah. Does anybody have snow yet?

Jade; Now that you mention it, there’s a section on Wheeler that looks similar to this, but you’re in the wrong park. As on Wheeler, though, there’s pavement under the snow. -Bob
x-country skiing in Australia in August (Perisher ski field, and the Kangaroo Hoppet at Falls Creek) and New Zealand in September (Snow Farm):

Doug; Somehow I don’t equate Australia/New Zealand with XC skiing but that deep snow looks mighty inviting. Thanks for the photos. -Bob
