Online maps

I received an email from a reader in Saskatchewan. I already emailed him back with the bad news that we have no snow. Does anyone know if there are any online maps of the ski trails? I’ve never looked online.

“Hi! We’re considering skiing for the day. However, a few concerns. Where do you suggest we get a few maps? Online and actual maps.

Also, has snow started falling in the area? We’re from SK and we haven’t had hardly any yet!

Thanks for your info!

Steven”

  1. Banff Park trail maps are available here:

    http://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/tcond/cond_E.asp?oPark=100092

Currently there the hiking maps, but later in the season when they start updating the ski trail conditions the ski trail maps will also be available.

You need to click on the area link to see the maps, not the more specific trail links. For example “Lake Louise Area” instead of “Bow River Loop”.

    I’m doing my snow dance….

  2. Below is a link for K-Country Maps (The ski trail maps are available in print for sale, and more general maps without ski trails are available free online).
