4 – 10 cm of new snow today
Ribbon Creek had about 5 cm of new snow. Feb 15, 2011
A quickly-moving snow storm swept through this morning. We got about 2 cm in Canmore, but Ribbon Creek received a lot more. With colder weather on the way, the conditions should be excellent once it’s groomed and trackset.
As you gained elevation, the snow was much deeper as you can see in the below photo:

The hi-lite of today was the final downhill back to the Ribbon Creek parking lot on Terrace. There was fresh snow, but a lot of skiers had been over it, so it was fast but fun, and nice to see no rocks.
