I skied the Telephone trail clockwise from the parking lot for about a half -hour yesterday, February 17 around noon. The trail was hard and fast. The predicted 1 cm snowfall gave it some control. It got better somewhat after the second intersection of the Hostel Trail.
Although cold, the sun was out and it was very pleasant once you got going. At the end of my half hour, I turned back and found the return more daunting as the downhills were long and one could pick up speed and there was not much surrounding cushioning in the event of a fall.
The only way this could be skied comfortably would to be able to use the skis edges but this in turn is hard on the wax.
