Here’s an update on Lake Louise, straight from the man himself:
Hi Bob;
Yep lots of new snow to work with. Hans and I have been packing and shoveling the Fairview and Telemark trails. Fairview is trackset, with some new snow on top, it’s in good early season condition,with some bumps and narrow spots. Telemark/Peyto trails are packed and ok for wider skis, no track, lots more work to do.
Morraine and 1A were packed and groomed again yesterday with sleds, so it was a bit soft and more snow on top. The Alpina and heavier equipment don’t work well in the warmer weather or deep snow. Jeff and Andrew should be on it again soon. Lake Louise Info should know where they are working, the info center is still open Monday thru Wednesday ,staffed by Banff L.Louise tourism . Still not much snow in Yoho to get us over the rocks and stumps.
