The Trip Reports have been viewed 62,677 times so far this winter.  Chuck O’Callaghan has been a steadfast and dependable Trip Reporter for many years, as have countless others. These detailed descriptions have helped thousands of skiers make informed decisions about their ski destinations over the past winter. For those who can’t get out to the exotic locations that Chuck visits, his “EveryTrail” maps and photos are the next best thing.

I expect some of the reports have even encouraged skiers to try out new trails which they hadn’t previously considered. I express my heartfelt thanks to all who have left reports on this blog. All skiers are grateful!

Flashback to 2008-2009

I posted this in April 2009 after my first winter of blogging:

“It’s been a lot of fun blogging about skiing this past winter, and I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent comments, reports, and photos which were sent in. I am pleasantly surprised at the interest which this blog received: it has been viewed 16,463 times since I started it in November!”

I was looking at the recent blog statistics compared to the first year. Readership has grown from 16,463 views six years ago to 420,534 this winter. Whoa!

  1. Hi Bob – Congratulations on the very obvious success of your blog and many thanks for creating this interesting forum which I follow regularly and support. Contributing reports has connected me with your other reporters and I have been pleased to meet ChuckOC and Helen Read “out there” this ski season.
