I didn’t ski today but I see lots of readers were out there. I will take this opportunity to thank everyone for their trip reports. These first-hand accounts really help everyone decide where to go tomorrow.
I remember the old days when we might get one or two reports in a day. Now it’s not unusual to receive a dozen.
If tradition holds true, trails in PLPP which should be groomed tonight include Whiskey Jack, Packers, and Upper Pocaterra.
I’ve received a half cm of new snow this evening in Canmore.
There’s big snow in the forecast for next week. The Snow Forecast is predicting 54 cm in PLPP on Tues – Wed – Thu next week, and perfect temperatures for skiing and preserving the snow. I know these forecasts are wildly inaccurate, but even if we get 10-15 cm it will be enough to cover the icy trails.
Yes, it looks like PLPP snow conditions will be excellent for the Cookie Race on Saturday! Incidentally, the Cookie Forecast is also calling for a bonanza…
