If not, I hope this post will add some excitement to your life. The weather forecast for Lake Louise for the first week of November is looking positive if you’re a cross-country skier.
The temperatures are below historical averages and there’s about 15 cm of snow predicted. If all goes well, we should be skiing on Moraine Lake road and/or the Great Divide within two weeks.
The forecast for Elk Pass is similar but it takes more snow to cover the rougher terrain there.
