Good News Update: Alf encountered 11 cm of new snow on Elk Pass which is exactly what the Mud Lake weather station reported.

Thanks to Chuck for the photos and trip report. When looking at Chuck’s photos be sure to read the captions for further details.

Ten cm of new snow at Lake Louise allowed for new grooming and tracksetting today on the Great Divide, Moraine Lake road, and Tramline.

Glad to hear from Ulrike about the 5 cm of new snow in PLPP. There’s another 10-15 cm in the forecast for this week.

We should be skiing in good conditions again at West Bragg Creek by week’s end with more snow and cool temperatures. The good conditions should stay a while this time around. The Weather Network is predicting sub-zero highs for the next two weeks.

I know it’s a long shot, but Windy.com is predicting 31 cm at Sandy McNabb by Friday. Could we hope for half of that at least?

One Comment:

  1. I was doing some work on the West Bragg Creek trails today. It started snowing steadily at about 4:00pm and around 2 cm had accumulated by 5:30pm. Hopefully, that’s an indication of good things to come overnight and tomorrow!
